Suonenjoki’s number one destination, Lintharju, offers wonderful settings for camping, mountain biking, skiing or, for example, picking mushrooms.

River trail

Jokipolku is a nature trail from Kimpanlampi to Iisvesi that is about five kilometers long. Along the way, there are boards with information on the river environment. At each end of the nature trail there is a lean-to maintained by the city. At Kimpanlampi lean-to you can also find a cultural outhouse!

Haavikkolehto

Haavikkolehto at Keurunmäki is part of the wonderful nature reserve of Northern Savonia. It’s a combination of a boulder area created during the ice age and an old, untouched forest.
