Heating

The houses have central heating. The radiators have thermostats which you can adjust a little. You can avoid the summer heat by keeping the curtains closed on the sunny side if the curtains are darkening enough. In addition, it is worth airing the apartment at night by opening small windows or balcony door.

Ventilation

Ventilation operates jointly throughout the house. The exhaust unit constantly removes air from the bathroom, kitchen, and the walk-in closet (if you have one). A couple of times a day, removal is strengthened. Exchange air valves, if there are any, are above windows in the living room and bedrooms. We recommend that you keep the exchange air valves open.

Storage

You cannot store anything in the stairways. In the event of a fire, items in the stairways may compromise evacuation safety, as the smoke may make it impossible to see items in the corridor. In addition, the trolleys in the stairways can produce toxic fumes when they burn. Trolleys are often stored on balconies or even in the hallway. You are advised to keep your bicycles locked up in a storage room.

Problems

If there are any problems in the apartment, the tenant should call the maintenance officer. The contact number can be found on the contact paper given with the keys or on the notice board in the building. It is a good idea to save the service number on your phone. You can also send WhatsApp messages to the house’s property manager. The most convenient way to report a problem is to send a picture of the situation, the apartment address, and the maintenance is allowed to enter the apartment with a master key to fix the problem.
