Kellarikalleria – exhibition gallery

We have two exhibition halls in Kellarikalleria which have changing arts, crafts and other exhibitions throughout the year. The Kellarikalleria (basement gallery) is in the center of Suonenjoki, in the basement of the library building. You can access the exhibitions by a lift from the library.

We also host various events, such as concerts and other performances there.

All exhibitions in the basement gallery are free of charge.

You are advised to make an appointment with the exhibition supervisor if you have a group that wants to visit the exhibition outside opening hours.  

Exceptions to the opening hours in 2025

Closed on:
– Good Friday, April 18^th and Easter Day, April 21^th
– May Day, May 1^th
– Maundy Thursday, May 29^th
– Midsummer’s Eve, June 20^th
– Independence Day, December 6^th

On holiday eves Kellarikalleria is open between 11:00-15:00
